"Hello, I'm Lilidhashini Mahendran, but you can call me Lili. I am a proud mum to two little wonders, Anjali (3) and Priya (1). My husband, Tim, and I are on a journey to give them the gift of bilingualism. We truly believe that introducing language through the magic of books is one of the most powerful and effective ways to do it. 

Our family has always been passionate about reading, and we have built a treasure trove of English children's books. However, when it came to finding the same wealth of Tamil children’s books, we hit a roadblock. As our girls' English vocabulary blossomed, I took it upon myself to ensure they could do the same in our mother tongue, Tamil. 

What I discovered is that many parents, especially in the Tamil diaspora, face the same challenge—access to quality Tamil literature for their children is limited. This realization prompted me to take action, to contribute my part for Tamil. I firmly believe that offering easy access to Tamil books filled with everyday words is a small yet significant step in helping your children not just learn the language but also confidently use it in their daily lives.
